Our farm has one of the best quality shale pits in Hampshire County.  We sell shale in a few different ways.  You can bring your own truck and have it loaded or we can deliver it to your site.  It makes great road beds, road surfaces, or a variety of other uses.  Give us a call to discuss the details.

Topsoil is also available at certain times of the year and usually in limited quantities, so call early to order yours.  The topsoil we have available is excellent quality.  Again, call for pricing and details.  

This picture is a close up of the quality of the shale....100% quality shale that breaks up easily and makes a beautiful driveway or parking area. 

This picture shows the shale after being graded and broken up (simply by traffic running over it).  It is very pleasing to look at an is as gradable as blue stone.

To the left is a recently completed barnyard road that hasn't even had any traffic over it yet.  you can see what a great base as well as final coating it makes.  We also have finer shale by request.
